Pre-fried Snacks (Rissoles, Pastries & Croquettes)
Deep Frying: For deep frying frozen croquettes, set your deep fryer to 180°C (356°F) and fry for approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
Oven Heating: Another convenient method, especially for warming large quantities of snacks, is to use the oven. Moisten the snacks well, set the oven to 200°C (392°F) without preheating, and place the snacks inside. After 17 minutes, the snacks will be ready.
Microwave Heating: To heat a snack in the microwave, allow about 1 minute per snack at 700 watts. If your microwave does not have a turntable, it is advisable to turn the snack halfway through the heating time and rotate it a quarter turn. Snacks like pastries and rissoles may lose their crispiness in the microwave, but they will retain their flavor.
Steamer Heating: Steamed snacks, such as Bakpao, can be wonderfully softened again in the steamer. Let the pan steam well, then place the snack (with the foil still on) in the pan. After about 12 minutes of steaming, the snack will be ready.
